Clomiphene is used to induce ovulation (egg production) in women who do not produce ova (eggs) but wish to become pregnant (infertility). Clomiphene is in a class of medications called ovulatory stimulants. It works similarly to estrogen, a female hormone that causes eggs to develop in the ovaries and be released.

Mannitol is a diuretic used to force urine production in people with acute (sudden) kidney failure. Mannitol injection is also used to reduce swelling and pressure inside the eye or around the brain.

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus particularly in overweight patients, when dietary management and exercise alone does not result in adequate glycemic control. In adults, Metformin may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other oral anti-diabetic agents or with insulin.

Trazodone Hydrochloride is Antidepressant agent. In clinical use the compound has proven to be an antidepressant equivalent in effectiveness to imipramine.

Levosalbutamol is used to treat spasms and constriction of airways in obstructive airway disease characterised by difficulty in breathing, coughing, wheezing sound and tightness of chest.

Lithium carbonate is used in manic depressive psychoses for the treatment of recurrent mood changes. Mood stability may only occur after months rather than weeks. The drug is administered orally in doses up to 2 g day⁻¹ (30 mmol day⁻¹). The serum Li concentration should be in the range of 0.4–0.8 mmol l⁻¹.

Phenylephrine is used to relieve nasal discomfort caused by colds, allergies, and hay fever. It is also used to relieve sinus congestion and pressure. Phenylephrine will relieve symptoms but will not treat the cause of the symptoms or speed recovery.
